RSA Volksmarch 8-25-2018


First impression: very cheesy attempt by a military MWR to host a volksmarch. At least they are trying. The sad thing is with all the history of the German rocket scientist coming to Huntsville and Redstone Arsenal after WW2 they should build on that history and combine it with their Oktoberfest like FT Belvoir. And utilize the AVA/IVV to run the volksmarch. It (3 mile) was a good course and hope they do make it an annual event...best thing was you got a free bratwurst and beer afterwards. My new shoes were a blessing too. It took me 52 minutes to complete.
