Southern Volksmarcher

I completed the 11 kM YRE “Music Row & Universities” in Nashville, TN today. Like the “Capital” YRE, the directions could use a little clarification in one or two spots. I liked this route better than the Capital route. Nothing wrong with the Capital YRE, just personal preference.

This past Monday I recorded my 50th Km with AVA. Tomorrow I will be doing a new walk, the Athens, Alabama YRE.

Found my house today on the Huntsville 5 Km route.

I really enjoyed this YRE managed by the Freestate Happy Wanderers. Great combo of history and nature on a path through suburbs and woods. It was my 5th AVA event, “S” on my Walking the USA A-Z, qualifies for an A Award, counted towards another Patch, and of course 10 more km in my distance book.
